William Riley Jr. bought out the Bonnick Cycle Company of Coventry UK, in 1890. Renamed it Riley Cycle Company. William Riley's son Percy took an interest in automobiles even though his father disapproved. In 1898 Percy Riley built his first at the age of 16.
Car Shown on this page is that of a 1936 Riley 12/4 Adelphi classic car. The Riley Marquee became dormant as the last car was produced in 1969.
