Only 25 were ever built of the side exhaust and boat tail 1937 Lagonda LG45 Rapide. Recently a 1939 Lagonda LG45 V12 Rapide in good condition changed hands for a sum of £116,381. Lagonda British car manufacturer found by Wilbur Gunn, an American from Springfield, Ohio.
In a recent RM Auction advert on the web, Lot No. 464, a 1937 Lagonda LG45 Rapide was estimated at between $600,00 and $800,000
