Photograph of this Austin 1300 Deluxe Saloon with front facial grill removed was taken on 5th November 2006 on the A3 route London to Brighton Veteran car run. The Austin 1300 4-door Saloon was manufactured by British Leyland fitted with front and rear wheel Independent-Hydolastic suspension.
The Austin 1100/1300 2-door and 4-door saloons and estates was manufactured from 1967 to 1971 over 11, 19, 800 of these range of cars was produced in that time period. First car began at BMC before the merged with the British Leyland Motor Company.
