The BAC Jet Provost T5A Trainer made its maiden flight on the 26th of June 1954. The Jet Provost was the first basic trainer in the world to go into service with the RAF from 1955 through to 1993 when it was retired. Jet Provost T5A was Originally developed by Hunting Percival.
