The C4 Corvette is the 4th generation of the Chevrolet Corvette range of sports cars which sports the sleek look and is a completely new design from its predecessor C3. The Chevrolet Corvette was made from reaction injected moulding material which is a sort of sheet moulding compound. The Chevrolet Corvette C4 Coupe is also the first Corvette to be manufactured with glass hatchback. The Chevrolet Corvette C4 Coupe was in production from 1984 through to 1996 when it was replaced by the high performance ZR1.
