The Curtis P-40 Tomahawk first saw action with British Commonwealth air forces in the Desert Air Force, in August 1941. Curtis P-40 is a U.S. all metal production single-seater low-wing fighter and ground attack single engine aircraft that first flew in 1938 and was in action during WW II.
