Daimler 5.3 Litre Double Six Series III is fitted with a V12 engine that is a developed engine which was originally used in the E-Type Jaguar sports cars. The Carburettors of the original engines fitted in the E-Type was replaced by the Lucas-Bosch Jetronic D fuel injection system.
