The Desoutter Mk.1 was originally designed way back in the 1920's by the man of the Quadroplane fame. Frederick Koolhoven is the designer. The monoplane aircraft was built in the UK by Desoutter Aircraft. The Desoutter Mark I was bought in 1935 by Richard Shuttleworth.
