Douglas DC6a Freighter Airplane first flew in 1946 and is one of the greatest airliner along with it's famous predecessor the Douglas DC3. The Douglas DC6 went into military service in April 1947. Powered by four Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp engines
