The Hawker-Siddeley Hawk is also known as the British Aerospace Hawk. The Hawk is an advanced jet trainer that had its first flight in 1974 and RAF service in April 1976. It is used to a large extent by the Royal Air Force as either a trainer or a low-cost combat jet aircraft.
