The D-Type Jaguar replaced the C-Type and continued the success by winning Le Mans in 1955, 1956 and 1957. With many more victories the D-Type Jag was assured of a place in history. Hence, a legend was born. The D-Type Jaguar  became the greatest race car of all time.
