The prototype XJ 220 Jaguar made its appearance in 1988 at the Birmingham Motor Show as an official Jaguar concept car fitted with Jaguar's colossal V12 engine. Prototype Jaguar XJ 220 is on exhibition at National Motor Museum. Shown is the production Jaguar model XJ 220 S Twin Turbo 680 CV powered by the smaller V6 engine. The Jaguar XJ 220 Twin Turbo has a top speed of 220mph and from a standing start, does 0-60 in 3.5seconds. Only 350 Jaguar supercars was built from 1992 to 1994.
