The Le-Mans D-Type 3.4 Litre Jaguar with an XK  109hp engine won the L-Mans in 1954, 1955, and in the 1956 Le-Mans race, D-type Jaguars filled the first, second, third, fourth and sixth places. The winning D-Type Jaguar was piloted by Ron Flockhart and Ninian Sanderson.
