Rolls Royce Avon MK203 Turbojet was used to power the Canberra Bomber, the Valiant and the Hunter F6. This engine was also developed for use as oil pumping and as an electrical generator. It is also noted that in 1983 this engine was fitted into Thrust 2 speed car to set a new land speed record of 633.468mph.
