The Rover 3500 V8 version of the P6 was first introduced in April of 1968 equipped with the now reliable Buick V8 engine that was already in use in the Rover P5B Saloon. Then in 1970 the Rover 3500 S was introduced. Production of the Rover 3500 range came to an end in 1976.
