The Vitesse was introduced in 1962 designed by that famous prolific Italian designer of sports cars, Michelotti. Triumph cars was a product of Standard Triumph. The 1962 Triumph Vitesse had a 1.6 litre engine, but in 1968 the Triumph Co., upgraded the engine to 2.0 Litre.
